The Orange County Sanitation District (OC SAN) was established in 1998. OC SAN’s service area covers approximately 480 square miles with a population of 2.6 million Orange County residents. The District provides regional and local sewer collection and treatment and partners with other agencies on issues involving recycled water and groundwater recovery.
