On January 18, 1990 County Service Area 26 (CSA 26) was established as a successor agency to the Orange County Harbors, Beaches, and Parks District. CSA 26 is a county-wide service area dedicated to Orange County funded by property taxes, user fees, and rent/concessions. The funding is allocated to the County’s recreational facilities and historical and natural resources, including Orange County coastal facilities, wilderness parks, historical parks, and regional parks.
