The Garden Grove Sanitary District (GGSD) was established in 1924 and officially became a subsidiary district of the City of Garden Grove in 1997. The District’s service area covers approximately 18.15 square miles with a population of 179,465 residents. GGSD’s service area includes the City of Garden Grove, portions of the City of Santa Ana, and Orange County unincorporated areas. The District provides wastewater services and solid waste collection services.
